We respect the privacy of merchants and their customers. This policy explains how we handle information when you install or use Partial COD & Advance Payment.

Information we handle

Depending on the permissions granted to the app and the information Shopify provides, we may process:

• Store details, including the store domain, currency and app settings.

• Product and variant details, quantities, prices and discounts.

• Order details, payment status, advance payments and outstanding COD amounts.

• Customer contact and delivery details included in order data.

• App connection credentials and technical records needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.

• Information you share when contacting support.

How we use information

We use this information to calculate partial payments and COD fees, create advance-payment checkouts, update eligible orders, record delivery balances, request Shopify payment notifications and provide support.

We do not ask for your Shopify password or collect full payment-card numbers, CVV codes or banking passwords. Payments are handled by Shopify and the payment providers connected to your store.

Service providers and sharing

The app uses Shopify and Hostinger to provide its services. Information may also be processed by payment providers and courier services involved in your store’s order workflow.

We share information only where needed to provide the service, respond to an authorised request or meet a legal obligation. Each third-party service handles information under its own privacy policy.

Storage and security

App information is stored using our hosting services. We use access controls and other safeguards to protect it. No online service can guarantee complete security.

Depending on the services involved, information may be processed outside the merchant’s or customer’s country.

Data retention

We retain app records for [retention period or clear retention rule], unless a longer period is required for legal obligations or resolving a dispute.

Uninstalling the app stops future authorised access, but does not automatically remove previously stored records. Contact us to request deletion of retained information.

Your choices and requests

Merchants can uninstall the app through Shopify. Merchants and customers can contact info@tiacreation.com to request access, correction or deletion of their information.

We may need to verify your identity and your connection to the store or order before handling a request. Some information may need to be retained where required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our service or data practices change. The latest version will show its effective date.
