TIA Creation (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides TIA Quantity Discounts to Shopify merchants. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when merchants install and use our app.
Information we access and collect
Depending on the permissions granted and features enabled, we may access:
- Store information, including the Shopify store domain and currency.
- Product, variant, collection, price, and relevant metafield data.
- Customer identifiers and tags used to determine eligibility for discounts and checkout rules.
- App settings, including discount tiers, customer roles, display preferences, and checkout permissions.
- Authentication credentials, installation records, and technical logs needed to operate and troubleshoot the app.
The app does not require customers’ card numbers or banking credentials.
How we use information
We use information to calculate and display quantity discounts, apply customer eligibility rules, manage supported checkout restrictions, save merchant preferences, authenticate requests, provide support, and maintain app security and reliability.
Customer tags help identify groups such as wholesale and reseller customers. Merchants are responsible for assigning these tags and configuring their rules appropriately.
Connected services
The app communicates with Shopify to provide its features. When merchants enable the TIA Partial COD integration, relevant customer permission settings are shared with that app to support compatible checkout behavior.
Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process information as necessary to operate the service. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the security and rights of merchants, customers, or our business.
Storage and security
We store app settings and authentication information on infrastructure used to operate the app. Store configuration may be temporarily cached to reduce loading time.
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No storage or transmission system can guarantee complete security.
Data retention and uninstalling
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service, resolve issues, and meet applicable legal obligations.
When Shopify sends an authenticated uninstall notification, the app removes its stored store configuration and session records. Uninstalling does not necessarily remove information already stored within Shopify or connected services. Technical logs and backups may remain subject to their retention processes.
Merchant and customer rights
Merchants can update app settings or uninstall the app through Shopify. Requests to access, correct, or delete information can be sent to info@tiacreation.com.
Customers should generally contact the Shopify merchant where they shopped, because the merchant controls the customer relationship and determines how customer information is used. We assist with applicable requests relating to information processed through our app.
International processing
Information may be processed outside the country where a merchant or customer resides, depending on the locations of Shopify and our service providers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or our practices change. The latest version will show an updated date.
